Volume 1, Issue 74, June 22, 2010: Racist Casting in Hollywood

I've been having my issues with Hollywood lately. More and more each day I grow to detest them. Not only do they make shitty remakes, but their colorblind casting is deplorable. I heard today that Angelina Jolie was being casted as Cleopatra in an upcoming Cleopatra biopic. I really like Angelina Jolie but this bothers me. This isn't the second time that she has been casted like this.

Racism is over my ass!

Jolie played Marianne Pearl who is real life was a biracial woman in the movie "A Mighty Heart".  They basically gave her a bad tan, crusty cheap curly wig so she can play Pearl. I don't give a shit how full Jolie's lips are, she's white end of story and her lips don't give her a pass to play a Black character. Why go through all that trouble trying to make a White woman Black when you can find a biracial or fair skinned Black actress who could have easily played Marlene Pearl? Does Thandi Newton ring a bell?

On the topic of Cleopatra. I'm so tired of people thinking that she is white. Cleopatra VII(69 BC-August 12, 30 BC) was the last ruler of Egypt and she was apart of the Ptolemaic Dynasty. The Ptolemy's ruled Egypt 300 years prior to Cleopatra's birth; Egypt was conquered by Alexander the Great and the Macedonians. When Alexander died, his generals, including Ptolemy I, divided up his conquered lands and they each ruled a province. Cleopatra VII was the daughter of Ptolemy XII, the identity of her mother is unknown. Her sisters and brothers all shared the same father but had different mothers who were unknown to history. The remains and tomb of Arsinoe IV, Ptolemy's youngest daughter and Cleopatra's half-sister, is only proof of how the Ptolemy's looked. The researchers who found her say that her skull shows an admixture of Black African/Egyptian and Macedonian Greek facial features.

Cleopatra VII wasn't a White woman. Sorry Hollywood, you can't win with your Mighty Whitey propaganda this time.

This is how Cleopatra and Arsinoe possibly looked.

This is how Hollywood wants Cleopatra to look.

There are some other notable and recent cases of the whites casts as minorities are DBZ, The Prince of Persia and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I previously wrote about DBZ and all of the problems I had with the American adaptation of it. One of the big flaws of the film is Goku being played by white actor Justin Chadwin in the Dragonball Evolution film, when we all know damn well that Goku is clearly Asian.

Avatar the Last Airbender(not to be confused with James Cameron's Avatar) is a live adaptation of the Anime Avatar. It's being directed by M. Night Shamaylan. Already it sounds bad but here's where it get worst. The original anime series, which I love,  follows the main protagonist Aang and his friends Katara and Sokka who must save the world by defeating the destructive Fire Nation. The Avatar series is heavily influenced by Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Native American cultures; the series contains many references to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Shamanism.

The heroes of the story are Aang, Katara, and Sukko. Aang is an airbender(possibly Tibetan?) and Katara/Sukko are from the Inuit/Eskimo inspired water bender tribe. The villains are the Fire Nation who are Chinese/Japanese including Prince Zuko and his sister Princess Azula. But in the live action movie, Kara and Souka are turned into WASPy Abercrombie-like teenagers and Zuko is turned into the Indian from Slumdog Millionaire? M. Night Shamalayan should be ashamed of himself. He is an Indian American and he should know the troubles that minorties face in Hollywood with the limited roles and oppurtunies. Why isn't he doing anything about this? This is his movie after all. SMDH.

Ahh, good ol' Hollywood racism.SMDH

I love how Hollywood tries so hard to be liberal and open-minded when they are neither. They are racist, out of touch and they like to promote propaganda. I'm tired of Asians, Latinos, Blacks and Native Americans being stereotyped and blacklisted from Hollywood. I'm sick of Asian men being only in martial arts movies, playing the villains, and never getting the love interest/sex scene. I'm sick of Black women having to act out ghetto streotypes and as jezebels in movies to get an Oscar nomination.

I'm sick of Latino men and Black men playing thugs and hustlers. I'm sick of Latinas having to be Mestizo to get some work in Hollywood; Hollywood likes to make its viewers believe that Alexis Biedel and Zoe Saldana aren't Latinas because of their skin color. I'm tired of Asian women having to play sluts, dragon ladys and submissive geishas. I'm sick of Whites trying to pass for Native Americans. I'm sick of them casting the usual tokens like Halle Berry, Lucy Liu, etc in everything and anything while ignoring the lesser know and more talented minority actors.I'm sick of them being afraid to portray interracial romances; and it the do it's always between a white person and a person of color. Never two people of color from two different races. I'm sick of movies that have a minority characters in need of a "Mighty White" savior. I'm just sick of it all. That's why I prefer foregin films. The American film industry is still stuck in the 1950s.

Volume 1, Isssue 68, June 7, 2010: Please Stop Raping My Childhood!

I remember those blissful days as a child; playing jump rope, hide & go seek, playing Sega, Nintendo, Playstation, watching my favorite shows like Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Saliormoon, Power Rangers, and watching my favorite movies like the Lion King, the Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty *sigh* oh sweet childhood memories. Sadly, my childhood memories are being defiled more and more as I grow older. Hollywood and the whole entertainment industry is ruining all the classic movies, TV shows, animes and games that I really loved.

Bye-bye childhood memories

Pixar is the devil

Well, it all began with Disney selling out to Pixar. Disney exchanged their 2-D animation for 3-D computer generated animation. The only great thing about Pixar animation is it is easier and quicker to produce. That's the only benefit of it. The 2-D cell animation was timeless and brought us awesome and beautiful stories such as the Lion King, the Little Mermaid and Snow White. I never got the appeal of the bug eyed looking Pixar characters. All of their characters are fugly; the people the animate look like child molesters and inbreeds. It doesn't look Disney at all it looks atrocious and  it doesn't have the magic like the old Disney. Also, there is NO FUCKING SINGING IN PIXAR FILMS! Would it kill them to thrown in some songs and musicals?

I hate you.

I'll give only one Pixar movie a pass and that's Toy Story the rest of them will never be classics and they all deserve a place in the 9th circle of hell along with Disney's other recent acquisitions like Hannah Montana, High School Musical. I nearly wanted to commit ritual Japanese suicide when my sister said that she has never seen the Little Mermaid or Bambi. It's a shame that this younger generation cannot appreciate the older Disney.

Live Action Anime

If you don't know it already I'm a huge Anime geek. My first anime was Dragonball Z, I watched it with my brothers when it first came to America in the early 1990s. I've never seen anything like it before. It has intense and long fight scenes, swearing, gore and badass characters that pushed the envelope more than your standard American cartoons.

Dear God, WHY?!

But who was the wise-ass who thought it would be cool to make Dragonball Z and Speed Racer into live-action films?

I mean I don't mind studios making live action movies at all, I JUST WISH THEY WOULD STICK TO THE FUCKING STORYLINE!!! The train wreck of a film know as Dragonball Evolution was released by 20th Century Fox in Spring of 2009 and directed by James Wong. It was a major fail and here's why:

-Why is Goku a White American and the other characters asian?
-The film was following the Piccolo arch of Dragonball, where Piccolo was the villain. Okay fine. But the writers of this film left out many major characters in this arch such as Tien, Lunch, Krillin, Chaotzu.
-WHY IS GOKU IN FUCKING HIGH SCHOOL?????!!!! SAIYENS DON'T NEED A EDUCATION THEY JUST NEED TO KICKASS!
-In Dragonball, Mai works for Emperor Pilaf not Piccolo.
-I don't recall a Kamehameha ever reviving someone, it's an attack not a fucking healing power!
-Goku was a complete pussy in this movie. He gets bullied. HA HAHA
-Bulma's hair was black with only one blue highlight
-Shenron wasn't a monstrous dragon like he was in the series.
-NO NIMBUS CLOUDS WTF!!!!
-No capsules from CapsuleCorp
-Goku using a bike to go to "school" Goku is the Japanese counterpart to Superman, he can fly, run fast and has super strenght the movie doesn't show his amazing abilities.
-Goku has a crush on Chi-Chi, umm it was the total opposite in the Manga/Anime
-Goku was very miserable in the movie; Goku is always smiling even when he is kicking ass.
-Piccollo was suppose to be GREEN.
-I can really go on for hours about the fails of this movie.

Tim Burton

DEAR GOD WHY????!!!!!!!! HE RUINED TWO OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES AND HE MAKES JOHNNY DEPP LOOK LIKE A CHILD MOLESTER IN EVERY MOVIE!!!

Volume 1, Issues 67, June 3, 2010: Where Did All The Supermodels Go?

I've been meaning to write about this issue that has been infecting the fashion industry for at least a decade. When I look at the covers and the contents of fashion industry magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Lucky, Teen Vogue, and Elle Girl, I feel nothing but disappointment. They have some ads from the top designers, very little coverages of special events, fashion shows, trunks shows, lackluster editorials, and the most disheartening thing of it all is, they always have a actress, a singer, or any celebrity. Why? What happened to all the supermodels?

Once upon of time, in a magical kingdom called the 1990s, fashion magazines actually featured models on their cover, such as Naomi Campbell, Veronica Webb, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer, etc. You learned about their backgrounds, upbringings, their projects, etc. When I look at the magazines today, its full of singers, actresses trying to model. Most of these actresses have enough press and media coverage already as it is. It's a rare opportunity to see supermodels on the cover of Vogue, Elle, or any other high profile fashion magazine. If they ever do they feature a model on the cover it's always Giselle Budenchen, who is past her prime, overrated and boring. I think its very unfair to the majority of models trying to break it in the industry.

Models face fierce competition, body image issues, racism, and low pay. Now they have to compete with these outsiders for photo shoots, ad campaigns, and covers. What happened to singers just being singers? Actresses just being actresses, and models just being models? Seriously, why do celebrities think they can do anything just because they have some fame? Most of the actresses/singers who have appeared in the magazines aren't even fresh either, it's like you see the same person on the magazine all the time. Some examples of this: Keira Knightly, Gwyneth Paltrow, Blake Lively, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Gardner, Sienna Miller(What is her appeal?), Nicole Kidman, Rihanna and her forehead, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus(why God? why?), Kristen Stewart, any other overrated actress/pop star who wants to model.

It's bad enough that we have to see these women on TV and movies all the time. Now I have to read about them in fashion magazines. Some of them can't dress for their life(Beyonce with her ugly mermaid pageant dresses and Kristen Stewart with her coke whore chic). I miss the days when I could name models by just looking at them on paper. This is why there are very few opportunities for models of color also, actresses/pop stars are snatching all of their jobs. These are models who deserve to be on the cover for once, Jordann Dunn, Chanel Iman, Emanuela de Paule, Sessilee Lopez, Du Juan, Crystal Renn, Ling Tan, Ai Tominaga, Juliana Imai, Coco Rocha, etc.

Volume 1, Issue 64, May 25, 2010: The Demise of The American Music Industry

I just finshed watching Rihanna's new video for her single "Rockstar 101"(I put the link for the trainwreck right below) and it was what I expected it to be. Shitty as usual: Rihanna is wearing black lipstick, spikes on her head and is laying around covered in brown paint screaming how she is a rockstar. The part that hurts is that this video features some of my favorite artist, such as Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink 182 and Gun's and Roses's guitarist Slash, selling out to ride the wave of this non-talented, non-singing Caribbean disgrace know as Robin Rihanna Fenty. Dammit! Is nothing scared any more in this world?!

Want to see some cool devil worshiping rituals-----------> Check Out The Illumanti's Latest Video Here!!!

The American music industry in the year 2010 is a disgusting, superficial, and half-assed has-been of itself. Here are some prime examples to show how much the music industry has fell off:

- Stealing songs, styles, and dance moves, paying MTV, BET, VH1 and various radio stations to play only your music to walk over all other artists *cough* Beyonce *cough*.

-Using autotune on every single song you have(T-pain, Kanye West,Lil Wanye)

-Singing songs about erectile dysfunction at the Kid's Choice Awards(Rihanna)

-Heaing wannabe Lil'Kim rappers with annoying voices rapping about their pussy being between a guys sideburns.(Nicky Minaj)

-Lil'Wayne being named the greatest rapper.

-Drake aka Jimmy from Degrassi trying to rap.

-Ke$ha(Why god,why?)

-Jay-Z selling out and dumbing down his lyrics.

-Sampling and remaking songs over and over again.

-Devil Spawn such as Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus

The sad thing about this is that people actually listen to this crap. People today wouldn't know the difference between music and "manufactured corporate creations." It's all over radio, TV and the Internet. You can't go 6ft  in this country without hearing "ALL DAH SINNGLE LADIES!!! ALL DAH SINGLE LADIES!!" or "COME ONE RUDE BOI BOI CAN U GET IT UP?" Seriously?

I used to laugh when people on blogs and gossip sites keep talking about this "Illumanti Conspiracy". The more and more I observe the music industry and the media, I think there is some sort of blood oath taken by artists, record labels, etc. Why do artist such as Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Beyonce release videos with all the same black/white effects? Why does Jay-Z call himself HOVA? Hova is basically another way to say Jehovah which means God. But check this out:

Jay-Z+Hova=Jay-Hova=Jehovah

Fishy right?

Why does Beyonce try to copy and compete with every artist ever know to man? Kelis, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, J.lo, Leona Lewis, Kelly Rowland, even her own goddamn sister Solange. Beyonce is so narcissistic, jealous and too simple-minded to create anything clever, ground breaking, unique. She is not that great of a singer, her dancing is average, her songs are sub-par; why is she famous? Two words: Public Relations!!! She has an awesome PR team that puts her name in everything from under the sun. She is not a real person, she is a product, she has no soul. Look at her interviews, she has a dull personality, poor speech habits; this is a sign that she agent of the Illumnati.

Stolen From Kelis' Bossy Video! More proof that Beyonce isn't original.

Look familiar?

I feel like sometimes I'm the only one who hates 90% of the music produced. I find myself listening to some of my favorite songs from the 1990s. It was a great time for music, everything even the most degrading rap music had a true form of artistry, depth, substance, and expression. People always say stupid things like "Man, why are you listening to those old songs?" and I say "Hey, you're mom is old and you still listen to her."

Volume 1, Issue 63, May 24, 2010: It's Been Too Long Baby!

Shit!!!! It's been forever since I last wrote an entry. I made a promise to myself to keep this blog going strong. So much has happened, it's been a month. I don't know where to start. Well here are some updates:

1) I'm A Junior Now!!!!!(Not officially, but I might as well be one. I'm only one credit short.)

I'm finally done with this train wreck of a Sophomore year. It was a really rocky and emotionally draining for my mental and emotional health, my finances, and just my social life. I had a lot of disappointments and WTF moments. I'm glad that all that bullshit is over and I can finally have some peace. Also I made this year my bitch! Academically, that is. Yeah, my grades and GPA improved and I passed all my classes with As and Bs. The challenge is going to be next Fall semester, I'm taking 18 credits and they are all 200-300 level courses. I'm very confident that I will kick ass and take names yet again.

2) I took a trip to the Virgin Islands!!!

I actually was asked by my mother to go with her for her b-day weekend after her sister and bestie couldn't make it. It was cool. It was my first actual time being on an airplane and traveling outside mainland U.S. The beaches were clear blue and the sand was pure white and the waves were soft and serene. I'll write a post on it later.

3) Hong Kong 2011

I plan to go travel to Hong Kong for my internship and independent study. My friends Nastacia is going to Shanghai this Summer for her classes and she told me about the program shes with and they have a Fashion and Public Relations option as well. I can't wait. I'm saving up money now, but I'm having a lot of trouble because I'm kinda unemployed. But I'll find something and I'm determined to make the money so I can go to China. Si se puede!!!!!

4) The Romantic Department

I had to swim through a sea of jerks, cheaters, douches and lames asses to get where I am today. I meet a very nice guy, he is very fine, he's foreign and we going to just live it up this summer. We just friends right now and I hope I can take it to the next level with him. I just had an awesome night with him last night at Dukem.

5) Summer Plans

I actually have a whole sort of bucket list for this summer. But I know that this summer I'm just gonna let my hair down and start enjoying my life again.

6) You Know Who You Are, I Won't Say You Name Because You Already Know What You Did.

I'm also going to just tell more people to go fuck off. I'm just tired of people and their nonsense. If you don't want to be my friend or if you don't like me just tell me you don't like instead of smiling in my face and pretending give a shit about me. Honestly, I would rather have a few real friends than numerous fake friends. Why delete my posts on facebook, why not answer my calls or texts? If we were such good friends why are you ignoring me like I'm nobody? Good, I guess we're not cool anymore. You are full of shit and I thought you told me you would never hurt me. We have been friends for six years and it's so sad to see someone who I thought was real turn out to be a fake ass bitch. You changed and it's for the worst. I always cared about you and I would never do this to you. But this was obviously a one-way friendship.Congrats your a douchebag!

Volume 1, Issue 61, April 19, 2010: Top 5 Reasons Why Prom Is Overrated

When I was in high school I knew Prom was retarded. It amazes me that some people think that their Senior Prom and high school is the highlight of their entire lives. I never thought Prom was important, at first I didn't want to go because it's basically dressing up in nice dresses that all look the same, with semi-drunk people and just annoying and vapid people who actually care about being the Prom King or King of a lame ass American high school. I didn't give a shit about prom than and I still don't. Here are my top reasons why I think that prom is stupid:

5. It's a high school dance. Why do people seriously think that high school is a big deal? It's not even the tip of the iceberg for me. High school was only four years of unnecessary drama, ugly girls who thought they were beauty queens and just bitchassness. People who are always trying to live up to their high school days and seem to always talk about how they were the most popular, Prom Queen, the star quarterback have no lives what so ever. Guess what, college is way better and no one gives a rat's ass if you were the all that shit back in high school.

Several trannies who I went to TC with me wore fugly dresses that matched their fugly faces such as this hot pink atrocity shown above.

4.Everyone Has The Same Dress. Everyone always gets the same dress that has their back out and it's in some atrocious polyester fabric. I don't know why some people act as if they are in a fashion show because most of the prom dresses worn by you average bitchy high school girl can be found on the racks of your local Nordstroms or Macy's.

3. People Make A Big Deal If You Don't Have A Prom Date. Originally, I had a date, my psycho ex-boyfriend but he had took away my prom ticket and gave it to some skank he cheated on me with and sired a love child with. So my friend gave me an extra ticket and I Just hung out with good friends. Why do I need to have an immature man-child as a prom date? What's the point I would rather just party it up with my friends.

2. Spending Thousands of Dollars On Riduclous Things. What's the point of a party bus or limo full of douches that you will never see in another 10 years? What's so great about drinking in a lame hotel room? In college some people I know get their drink on every weekend.

1. The Popularity Contest. It's laughable how people in my high school took Prom votes more seriously than the Presidental elections. All you get is a title and a cheap crown and it doesn't make you anything after high school. The prom queen of my school looks like a coke whore now.

Volume 1, Issue 55, March.1.2010: Why I Will Never Respect Celebrity Clothing Lines

Kudos to Tim Gunn for putting the Hoedashians sisters in their place with their tacky clothing line that is at Bebe now. I'm so tired of these celebrities thinking that they can do everything, singing, acting, having their own water and now desiging clothes?! GTFOH!!!!

A celebrity with a clothing line is a the ultimate sign of a egomanic. The only thing they care about is making profit from the fashion industry and extending their 15 mins of fame. Most of the celeb clothing lines are rubbish and they lack quality and actual taste. For example just to name a few:

Celebrity: Beyonce Knowles
Line: The House of Deron
Description:Basically, overpriced cheap dresses and shirts with tacky ruffles with horrid color schemes. Beyonce actually think that her line is the shit, shes always repping it in all of her annoying ass song.

Celebrity:(Wannabe Celebs in this Case) The Hoedashian sisters, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney
Line: Shitty Whore Dresses At Bebe
Description:The Hoedashian sisters style motto is tight and bright. These dresses are clearly marketed towards upcoming prositutues and future mistresses of Tiger Woods'.

Celebrity: J.Lo
Line: Sweetface
Description: Gag me

Celebrity:Nelly
Line: Apple Bottoms
Description: Nelly only wanted to have a line of jeans that fits women with bigger a$$ests. He only had good intentions and it was a great idea. But no woman wants to have two giant apple pocekts on her already big ass.

Celebrity: Kimora Lee Simmons
Line: Baby Phat
Description: See Apple Bottoms. Somethings would be cute if it didn't have a giant golden cat on it.

As a Fashion Merchandising major, I'm appalled at celebrity clothing lines. I see friends at MU who spend hours, days, weeks, and sometimes months sewing their own lines together for school and they still get no recongnition for their hard work. I've seen some beautiful garments sewn by the design students and many of them never see the light of day. It pisses me off that these egotistical celebs can put out a tacky line in a day and everyone would kiss thier ass and will be all over it. People seem to forget that there are people going to school for fashion. Just because you dress well or have a great stylist doesn't mean that you know fashion and can design a whole clothing line out of you ass. Many of these celebrities have no knowledge of garment construction, fabric quality or the correct fabric choice, or even colors. Singers should stay singers, actors should stay actors,  just leave the fashion industry out of this!

Volume 1, Issue 54, Feb.17.2010: The Black Girl Curse

Lately, I've been seeing all of these reports and specials about why are Black women single and just about Black people in general.  I'm wondering where this new found interest in Black people came from? Not to beat the dead horse its hard any woman of any race to find the right guy to marry or be in a relationship, but for some reason, 42% of Black women in American remain single or have never married. Here some reasons why I think it's so:

The Number Don't Lie

There are about 2 million more Black women than Black men. Already their are going to be some problems. Even if even Black man were to marry a Black woman to day one out of twelve Black women would still be single. Say that there are 100 Black men. Out of those Black men you can elimate 21% who don't have a high school diploma, the unemployed which are about 17% and those who are incarcerated which is about 8%.  Which leaves about 54% of dateable men. Oh, and it gets even better. Out of those men, maybe 20% are already married and 10% don't date Black women.

Requirements For A Spouse

What bothers me the most is that people seem to think that all Black women want only thugs. I hate thuggish or ghetto men and I bet many other Black women will second me on that. Most Black women who are professional are usually looking for a man thats on their level or above, also with that he has to be somewhat attractive, intelligent and open-minded. Isn't that what every woman wants? Why should we settle for just any guy thats out there? I would want the best man for myself. I want someone who is a great provider, smart, considerate, and caring. If that's me being picky than so be it. I don't think Black women are pickier than other races of women. They have the same exact standrads!!!

"Just Don't Bring Home A White Boy."

Although interracial marriages have been increased between Black women and other races of men in the last decade, most Black women have never been with someone of a different race. I think this is biggest reason wny many Black women are single. Many of them never try to date a man of a different race. Reasons for this are:

1) Family

Many Black women were told when they were younger by their parents and relatives to never date a man from another race or culture because it would be "going against the community" or it wouldn't be "loyal" to Black men or the Black race. BULLSHIT!!!! No one tells Black men this at all. Black men have been interracially dating for years and no one complains about it all. Why is it such a double standrad? Why have Black women become the "preservers" of the Black community? My own dad even told me this foolishness, but my aunt told me before he was with my mom he dated several white women.SMDH

2) Some Black Women Prefer Black Men

There are just some Black women who prefer Black men. Just like there are Black men who prefer Black women and White women who prefer White men and Green men who prefer women with stripes. Everyone has their own preferences and people shouldn't be made guilty for that. You can't tell it's wrong for someone to be attracted to certain types of people. I'm attracted to all types of men but I generally prefer White or Latino guys. This leads me kinds to my next to points.

3) Many Non-Black Men Overlook and Ignore Black Women Completely

Seriously!!! This irks me the most!!!

I remember going out with a group of girlfriends to a lounge/resturant. It was maybe about 6 of us I was the only Black chick out of one Latina, 3 white girls and one asian girl. Most of the people there are white, hispanic, or asian. Anyways, we were eating and a group of guys come over and start talking to my friends. They were all white and guess what. Not one of them talked to me!!! It was like I was invisible, they didn't even say hi to me.That whole night I felt so rejected. All of my friends were the ones getting hit on and I got no play at all that night.  I'm not an ugly girl at all. I've been told that I'm very beautiful by guys and girls. I even was asked to model for some hip-hop magazine, but I declined I wasn't going to be sticking my ass cheeks out. I have a nice personality too, I'm outgoing, I don't have an attitude and I'm not a bitch. I was voted most likely to brighten up someones day in middle school.

I have come to the conclusion that Black women are unwanted generally by non-Black males. I feel like there is some rule in America that says that Black woman are taboo or off limits. The most beautiful Black woman say, someone who looks like Gabrielle Union or Kenya Moore could walk down a street of White men and they would all ignore her. Just look at any magazine that is marketed to young White men mostly like Maxim or GQ, whenever they have their lists like "Hottest Women in the World" or "Maxim's Top 100 Sexiest Women" there are very few Black women on the list and there hasn't been a Black woman who was in the Top 10 at least. The only Black women who ever qualify for these lists are usually in this order: Beyone, Rhianna, Alicia Keys, and Tyra Banks. These are suppose be the representatives for Black women's hotness, which is unfair  because the majority of Black women look different. I remember I was on AskMen.come and they had a list for "The Hottest Babe Producing Countries" not one of those countries was African. They did however mention Brazil which has a majority Black population but is portaryed as a mostly White or mixed race country. Are we not women too? Sometimes I feel that many men don't regard Black women as human at all, that's why many refuse to even try to say hi to us. They would rather disregard every Black female and believe in all the stereotypes of us as being ghetto, promiscious, ugly, fat, loud, bossy, or the mothers of  numerous children with different fathers. It makes me sad indeed that this is the attitude of most American men.

4) Even If Black Women Date Interracially

Even if many Black women decide to date interracially, many non-Black men would rather just use them for sex rather than date or marry a Black woman. Ugh!!!! I have dated different races of guys, some of them ended up as serious boyfriends. But the majority were losers who believe in the dumb stereotypes that Black women are suppose to be sluttier and they were just looking for sex. I remember I was with this one guy who was white. He was the guy I talked about in my very first entry. We were friends and I started liking him and I thought he liked me and he said that we were going to be together and he ignored me for 3 months for no reason. He came back to school and he was avoiding me and acted as if he didn't know me and act as if he was ashamed of me. Turns out he lied to all his friends and said that I fucked him and that I was a freak in bed. I never had sex with this guy at all. Whenever I talk to a white guy who is interested in me it seems like they only want me for sex., just to say they've been with a Black chick before I can see why many Black women refuse to date out. It sucks when any man uses you for sex. But when a man uses you just for your race it hurts even more. It's like they can only take you seriously if your only having sex with them.

There is some kind of cultural bias against Black women with other types of men. I think Black women who are with non-Black men tend to get more rude remarks while in public, weird stares, and just a lot of jealousy.Case in point, my ex who was mixed with Lebanese, Colombian and German he was very fair skinned and have blade hair and hazel eyes. Whenever we would go out people would look at us funny and treat us odd. Whenever I'm with any non-Black guy some random Black guy would come bother us talking about "He don't know what to do with all of that ass!" or "Another one bites the dust!" and my favorite one "You're White man humping ass!" Not to mention many non-Black women try to wonder why my boyfriend choose them over me and get jealous.

I remember I had walked inside a resturant with him and he asked for a table and the waitress said "For One?" and she looked at me rudely and asked "Can I help you miss?". My ex was like "No for two, she is with me." His mother hated the sight of me. She was openly racist and she would say things like "I don't want grand children that are Black," "How could you be with a Black person?", "You won't be taken seriously with a Black wife." SMDH!!!

It's not easy for any woman, but I think Black women have it a lot harder in the dating arena. Sometimes I think there is some type of curse on us Black women. If we go to college and have high paying salaries were are being too "emsculating", if we want a man with money we are "golddiggers", if we speak are minds we are suddenly "bitches". It never ends for us sometimes. But there are signs of hope there are more men who ignore the stereotypes and are dating or married to Black women. I hope that all the single Black women will find the right men for them. As for me, I'm only 19 and still in college, there is still plenty of time for me to find the right one. Hopefully he looks like Rudy Reyes, is really smart and give me awesome orgasms.
