Volume 1, Issue 64, May 25, 2010: The Demise of The American Music Industry

I just finshed watching Rihanna's new video for her single "Rockstar 101"(I put the link for the trainwreck right below) and it was what I expected it to be. Shitty as usual: Rihanna is wearing black lipstick, spikes on her head and is laying around covered in brown paint screaming how she is a rockstar. The part that hurts is that this video features some of my favorite artist, such as Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink 182 and Gun's and Roses's guitarist Slash, selling out to ride the wave of this non-talented, non-singing Caribbean disgrace know as Robin Rihanna Fenty. Dammit! Is nothing scared any more in this world?!

Want to see some cool devil worshiping rituals-----------> Check Out The Illumanti's Latest Video Here!!!

The American music industry in the year 2010 is a disgusting, superficial, and half-assed has-been of itself. Here are some prime examples to show how much the music industry has fell off:

- Stealing songs, styles, and dance moves, paying MTV, BET, VH1 and various radio stations to play only your music to walk over all other artists *cough* Beyonce *cough*.

-Using autotune on every single song you have(T-pain, Kanye West,Lil Wanye)

-Singing songs about erectile dysfunction at the Kid's Choice Awards(Rihanna)

-Heaing wannabe Lil'Kim rappers with annoying voices rapping about their pussy being between a guys sideburns.(Nicky Minaj)

-Lil'Wayne being named the greatest rapper.

-Drake aka Jimmy from Degrassi trying to rap.

-Ke$ha(Why god,why?)

-Jay-Z selling out and dumbing down his lyrics.

-Sampling and remaking songs over and over again.

-Devil Spawn such as Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus

The sad thing about this is that people actually listen to this crap. People today wouldn't know the difference between music and "manufactured corporate creations." It's all over radio, TV and the Internet. You can't go 6ft  in this country without hearing "ALL DAH SINNGLE LADIES!!! ALL DAH SINGLE LADIES!!" or "COME ONE RUDE BOI BOI CAN U GET IT UP?" Seriously?

I used to laugh when people on blogs and gossip sites keep talking about this "Illumanti Conspiracy". The more and more I observe the music industry and the media, I think there is some sort of blood oath taken by artists, record labels, etc. Why do artist such as Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Beyonce release videos with all the same black/white effects? Why does Jay-Z call himself HOVA? Hova is basically another way to say Jehovah which means God. But check this out:

Jay-Z+Hova=Jay-Hova=Jehovah

Fishy right?

Why does Beyonce try to copy and compete with every artist ever know to man? Kelis, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, J.lo, Leona Lewis, Kelly Rowland, even her own goddamn sister Solange. Beyonce is so narcissistic, jealous and too simple-minded to create anything clever, ground breaking, unique. She is not that great of a singer, her dancing is average, her songs are sub-par; why is she famous? Two words: Public Relations!!! She has an awesome PR team that puts her name in everything from under the sun. She is not a real person, she is a product, she has no soul. Look at her interviews, she has a dull personality, poor speech habits; this is a sign that she agent of the Illumnati.

Stolen From Kelis' Bossy Video! More proof that Beyonce isn't original.

Look familiar?

I feel like sometimes I'm the only one who hates 90% of the music produced. I find myself listening to some of my favorite songs from the 1990s. It was a great time for music, everything even the most degrading rap music had a true form of artistry, depth, substance, and expression. People always say stupid things like "Man, why are you listening to those old songs?" and I say "Hey, you're mom is old and you still listen to her."

Volume 1, Issue 51, Feb.09.2010: Alicia Keys and Beyonce In Ankara

Beyonce and Alicia Keys collaborated in Rio De Janiero, Brazil to shot their new video "Put In The Love Song". They are filmed near the Christ the Redemeer Statue and in a nearby favela. Did I mention that they were wearing Ankara? I really want a nice Ankara dresses and playsuits for the Spring and Summer.

Volume 1, Issue 47, Feburary 1, 2010: Grammy Red Carpet Grades

I didn't see the entire show. I flipped back and forth between the grammy's and my favorite movie Akira which I was already watching before the Grammy's come on. I saw some of the red carpet looks and for the most part I saw some very amusing and outragoues designs that look as if a drunken hobo with sequins created them. There weren't enough colorful dresses, there was way too many people wearing nude or neutral tones.

Lady Gaga
Grade: Ummm???? Where do I began? It's Lady Gaga. This is the most tame we've seen her. She is channeling a villan from Sailor Moon in this custom made Giorgio Armani Prive gown.

Beyonce
Grade: C+, she would have gotten an A if this dress didn't have those hideous sleeves. The sleeves and the zipper make the dress look like a cheap knock-off from Rainbow. I'm tired of her wearing this boring dream girls mermaid sillhotte dress. Her hair and make-up looked very plastic like.

Fergie
Grade:A+, She looks beautiful with her dark hair and her blue Pucci mini dress.

Taylor Swift
Grade: D-, Seriously this dress is too matronly and it make her look 10x more flat chested than she already is. Not to mention the color is dreadful.

Rihanna
Grade: D. Who told her that having a powered 18th century wig attached to this dress was cute? Not to mention that her hair color and cut is wrong for her face. She needs to dye it black and grow it out a little longer.

Lea Michelle
Grade: A++, wow she was seriously one of the best of the night.

Pink
Grade: A+, not only did she have the best performance of the night she look beautiful in this Tony Ward gown.

Britney Spear
Grade: WHYYYYY???????????????????????!!!!!!!! No sorry Britney you didn't do it again.

Keri Hilson
Grade: A+++, Miss Keri BABY!!!!

J.Lo
Grade: C+, Her Versace dress is having a split personality disorder or some type of idenity crisis. It doesn't know whether to be long or short, chic or slutty.

Ke$ha
Grade: C-, Hey! Who invited this hooker?! Secruity!!! Another one of Tiger Wood's mistress is on the loose!

J.Hud
Grade: A+++++, Wow she looks great in this LBD made my Victoria Beckham. She also gets a DDDDD for her boobies.

Volume 1, Issue 46, January 31, 2010: I ♥ Crystal Kay!!!!!!!!!!

Crystal Kay is seriously one of my favorite singers. I randomly found out about her while I was watching Full Metal Alchemist one day. She sings one of the ending songs for the anime and it's called Motherland, btw it is an awesome song.

Crystal Kay Williams is a Japanese singer and songwriter and she is part-Black American and Korean but she was born in Japan. She is fluent in Japanese and English but she doesn't know how to speak Korean. She has realeased over 10 albums since 2000 and she is now working on a drama series called "Left Eye Detective".  Crystal Kay needs to come to America. I think she'll be huge here.

Volume 1, Issue 35, December 22, 2009: Oooo Baby Give It To Me Right!!!!

One day I was watching the VH1 Soul channel (or was it MTV Hits?) and I saw this video "Give It To Me Now" by Melanie Fiona and I feel in love with it. I'm posting up the remix verison, because I like it better than the original. Melanie is so beautiful and so underrated. I don't understand why this woman isn't a huge superstar. She not only has the looks and style but she has acutal talent. Her voice is very soulful and sensual. Way better than wack ass Mz. Russian Roulette aka Rhianna the Caribbean disgrace.

Volune 1, Issue 33, December 18, 2009: The Song For My Mood

Underneath Your Clothes

This song describes my current mood, and I can't stop blushing. It makes me think about a special man that I really like. I can't stop thinking about him and being with him. I can barely find words to fit my feelings for him, so I have this song it's called Underneath Your Clothes by Shakira.

Volume 1, Issue 29, December 8, 2009: Since When Did Music Have A Race?

I don't think there is a genre of music I hate. If you look at all my Ipods, music lists, and Youtube playlists I have a bit of everything. Indian music? Check. Japanese music? Check. Metal? Check. Hip-hop? Check. If my ears like it and my souls feels it, its good music to me. I don't understand why people freak out or they are surprised when me a Black person is into other types of music besides Rap and R&B. For example, a friend of a friend was shocked when I was listening to a rock song.

Girl: "Oh my god, you listen to this?"
Me: " Yeah"
Girl: "I thought you only liked rap music."
Me: "No, acutally rap music is probably my least favorite. I don't listen to it that much."
Girl: "Wow, I would never expect that from you."

Another instance of this, I was at home playing one of my favorite songs "Headstrong" by Trapt.

My Brother: "What are you listening to?"
Me: "Headstrong by Trapt."
My Brother: "You listen to that cracker music. You need to hang around Black people and play some black people music. You're so White sometimes"
Me: "Do you realize that Black people invented Rock & Roll? I prefer to hang around a diverse group of people and play whatever music I feel like."
My Brother: HE GOT PWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hah ha hah haha

Since when did the color of your skin determines what type of music that you listen to? I mean is there some law that prohibits Black people from listening to other types of music? No one ever judges White people for what they listen to. It's always a problem when you are Black and different. Even in the music industry. You barely see any Black rocker, punks, or goths in music. You either have to be a rapper(a bad one at that and only talk about stereotypical shit) or a R&B artist.I'm just tired of people always trying to put Black people in a box. No we don't all live in the ghetto or on welfare. No we don't always have children out of wedlock. No we don't always listen to Rap and R&B.

Volume 1, Issue 25, December 4, 2009: Give Me A Christian Side Hug

WWJD? Side hug you! I discovered this hilarious video today and I couldn’t keep a straight face through the whole thing. Apparently, hugging someone from the front is inappropriate now. This Christian youth group has found an alternative to these normal “sinful” hugs, “The Christian Side-Hug also known as the CSH. They are presenting this side hug fad with a hardcore gangsta rap song.  Enjoy.
